Participation in individual clinical supervision is meant to enrich your learning experience and your ability to navigate direct service work practice. It is an opportunity to receive guidance about implementing tools that were learned in school into a work setting, and an invaluable time in your journey as a Social Worker. In individual supervision, you will receive one-on-one time with me to discuss clinical work, professional goals, and any specific expectations that you would like to meet through the use of supervision. Furthermore, our sessions will be entirely devoted to discussing your individual successes and challenges and resources that are catered to your particular interests.
You can choose to participate solely in individual supervision, or you can opt for a combination of individual and group supervision. For further details about the group model, check out my group supervision page.
Below are additional components of the supervision I will provide:
Articles and resources relevant to your clinical work
An emphasis on social justice and macro-level issues as it relates to clinical work
Attentiveness to TSBSWE guidelines toward clinical licensure
